After earning rave reviews for both their stunning debut and captivating live performances, London’s JUROJIN have landed a support slot with Israel’s Orphaned Land on Sunday June 27th at London’s infamous Underworld venue.
“We’ve been fans of Orphaned Land and have followed their progress for a couple of years now” states guitarist Nic Rizzi. “So we are quite grateful to have been given the opportunity to support them in our hometown. Some of their influences are quite similar to ours with the usage of percussion instruments within heavy music, Arabic vibes, and musical passages so for us to open up the night seems suitable. I have to say though, we are just as thrilled to be playing with Orphaned Land as we are to be able to finally see them live!”
JUROJIN have just released their acclaimed debut mini-album, “The Living Measure of Time” via ADA/ Warner, to great critical acclaim. Kerrang! Magazine have called them “one of the most unique bands of 2010,” Rocksound describe the album as “displaying a maturity far in excess of the band’s apparent experience,” and JUROJIN have received equal praises from the likes of Prog magazine, Powerplay, XFM, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and Kerrang! Radio amongst many others within UK media.
Come see for yourself what Metal Team UK call “a band of professional musicians playing top-quality music.”
