With festival season well and truly underway (you can tell because it’s raining) it’s soon going to be time to check out a new festival which appeared in Kent last year (as a one-day event featuring Feeder, Ash and Gary Numan) and is now back for a second run as a full-blown weekender with a mouth-watering line-up of prodigious home-grown talent as well as a selection of international acts that will get the blood pumping.
Taking place in the picturesque setting of Port Lympne Wild Animal Park the festival offers a wide array of attractions from the music on offer to extreme sports and from the tranquillity of the animal park itself to crazy thrill rides, this really is the one up-and-coming festival that you need to check out.
If you’re still not convinced then check out the line-up: Glassjaw, Sepultura (fresh form a headlining tour of the UK), Napalm Death, The black Dahlia murder, Despised Icon, Gallows, Sylosis and many, many more to keep you raging in the pit for the whole weekend.
A truly independent festival that deserves your attention and support, Hevy festival is the place to be between 6-8th August.
Tickets and more information available at http://festival.hevy.co.uk/ and of course we’ll be there to review the whole thing…
