‘Monument,’ delves deeper into the source of anguish that fueled ‘Apologies Are For the Weak’ (their debut album which sold well over 20,000 records), with Miss May I presenting an even more eclectic side to the organized chaos they have earned a reputation for. Borrowing from a wider range of genres, the new album touches upon parts of thrash merged with melody and metalcore goodness. The intensity on ‘*Monument’* is unmatched by any metal release this year and all that emotion was unhinged earlier this summer on the *‘Back To Your Roots Tour’* in the U.S as the band directly supported The Devil Wears Prada with sold out days in most major markets.
