Killing Joke Frontman Honoured In France

PRIOR TO the band’s sold-out headline show in Paris on September 27th, Killing Joke vocalist Jaz Coleman was presented with a prestigious award at the Casino de Paris.

In the presence of friends, family and local dignitaries, Jaz was formally honoured as  ‘Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres’ in a ceremony that saw music from new Killing Joke album ‘Absolute Dissent’ played alongside poetry readings and classical music pieces.

ABSOLUTE DISSENT’, released on September 27th via Spinefarm Records UK, features 12 brand new tracks, and is the first time the original KJ line-up has played together in almost 30 years.

A new single/video, ‘European Super State’, is currently being scheduled for release, and the band has two UK headline shows confirmed for October, including their first London show with the original line up in 28 years.

These are:-
15th Edinburgh, Picture House
16th London, Hammersmith Apollo

Swiss outfit the Young Gods will be special guests on both dates.
