Three-times Grammy nominees STONE SOUR have teamed up with MTV and Gift Music for one of their exclusive ‘MTV Presents:’ live shows at London’s Dingwalls venue, just around the corner from MTV’s UK HQ in Camden. The show is part of a series of special, one-off gigs featuring the best of both established and emerging global talent. In the first 9 months, the likes of Vampire Weekend, Deftones, Foals, Marina and The Diamonds and Tinie Tempah have all lined up to be involved.
The Des Moines, IA-based band recently released their third studio album ‘Audio Secrecy’ to massive critical acclaim. The disc crashed into both the UK and US album charts at #6, with the band also racking up many of their highest ever chart positions in other countries across the globe. STONE SOUR recorded ‘Audio Secrecy’ in Nashville earlier this year with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters / Alice In Chains) and released their first single, ‘Say You’ll Haunt Me’ in August. The cryptic video for the track can currently be seen on all good music channels.
Frontman Corey Taylor commented about the album, “’Audio Secrecy’ is the summation of everything we want, everything we crave and everything we fight for. The dimensions go further than anything we’ve ever tried before. It’s metal, rock, slow, soft, hard, fast, bitter, beautiful and most importantly, it’s REAL. We’re throwing caution out the damn window.”
STONE SOUR kick off their major co-headline UK tour in Glasgow on 26th October with Avenged Sevenfold and with the majority of tickets already sold out, the MTV Presents… STONE SOUR gig is the perfect chance to catch the band, up close and personal, before they head out on their UK arena dates.

I'm a self-confessed musical nut with an eclectic taste ranging from lo-fi indie to crushing heavy metal. I also make a blizzard of noise in my band Final Coil (recently seen deafening audiences in the midlands area). I also like cheese. Cheese is possibly the single greatest food (if one excludes bacon). Sometimes I write songs about cheese... but not often
