Decoder To Release Debut In February

Florida quintet DECODER are a band electrified by ambition. Formed by former members of Oceana, VersaEmerge and Of Machines, Decoder have fused their collective experiences and influences to create a rich tapestry of heavy yet ambient rock. Drawing elements from prog and screamo, Decoder’s sound is loaded with haunting melodies and crushing intensity, its curves and contrasts destined to make the quintet true contenders.

Produced by Matt Malpass (Manchester Orchestra, Copeland, Relient K, Lydia), the band’s self-titled debut album will be released on 7th February 2011 via Rise Records.

This may be early days in the evolution of DECODER, but all signs are pointing skywards.

DECODER are: Keith Jones – Vocals / Aux, Jack Burns – Guitar, Brent Guistwite – Drums, Spencer Pearson – Vocals / Keys, Bryce Sipes – Bass.
