The Leicester-based alternative rock band Final Coil have just released their single through MrsVee, the eclectic home of Greg(o)rian, The Resonance Association and Matthew Anderson. The three track single, entitled “waste Yr Time” features one cut from the forthcoming mini-album as well as the b sides “Real” (recorded by the band during the same sessions as ‘leaving hell’ ) and a special live version of ‘This love’. The single also comes with exclusive, specially designed art work in a PDF format, all ready to print so you can burn off your own physical copy, although a special, limited physical version will be available soon.

Final Coil frontman Phil had the following to say about the single:
“It’s been a crazy year for us and we’ve developed a lot of new material through the live gigs we’ve been playing. ‘Waste yr time’ is the first expression of a new darker, hearder edge we seem to have developed since the line-up stabilised and we’re very proud to be releasing this through MrsVee, a label we have a great respect for.”
I'm a self-confessed musical nut with an eclectic taste ranging from lo-fi indie to crushing heavy metal. I also make a blizzard of noise in my band Final Coil (recently seen deafening audiences in the midlands area). I also like cheese. Cheese is possibly the single greatest food (if one excludes bacon). Sometimes I write songs about cheese... but not often
