Renaissance players announce headline UK dates in support of latest album, ‘Autumn Sky’, out now via Spinefarm Records…
BLACKMORE’S NIGHT, the group centred around guitar great Ritchie Blackmore and vocalist & partner Candice Night, have now confirmed a series of UK dates for September / October 2011.
With a substantial body of work to their name (eight studio albums, including current offering ‘Autumn Sky’, a live album, a covers album and two DVDs), this high-profile husband & wife duo have done much to bring Renaissance music to a contemporary audience – inspired by simpler times of magic & myth, and utilising the skills of a core group of players well versed in the arts of traditional music.
The confirmed shows are as follows, with special seating areas reserved for fans in garb and medieval clothing.
30th Sept – York, Grand Opera House
1st Oct – Buxton, Opera house
5th Oct – Birmingham, Town Hall
8th Oct – Salisbury, City Hall
11th Oct – Swindon, Wyvern Theatre
