Vocalist/guitarist Rami Jämsä offers the following update: “We are preparing a new album to be released by Svart at the end of this year. We decided to record the album in two sessions. The first session is done, and we now have four tracks recorded. Next sessions are in September, and then we will have enough, 8-10 tracks, then. As people have noticed, we are a trio nowadays. We have rehearsed a lot to improve the band’s groove and versatile output; the style has evolved a lot, as you can hear. This time, there will be influences from progressive rock, old ’80s heavy metal, and early death metal, too – all the music we have listened from the early years of the 1980s. We have always been very open-minded with our music, and want to challenge ourselves and listeners, too.” Further details to be revealed as they become available.
