Grindmother recently completed a 9 date run with Seeker (Victory Records),Cognitive (Unique Leader Records) and Wvrm. In January, the band took part in the 1Fest NE Tour with Siege, ACxDC and Cloud Rat, followed by shows in Germany and Japan. That’s 28 shows in 10 weeks!
The project began in January 2015 after a video of her guest recording session with her son Rain Forest went viral. The pair later released a video for an original song called “Any Cost“, which famously earned a tweet from Ozzy Osbourne. Drummer Tyson Blast was added to the group in January 2016 and the trio recorded their debut album, “Age of Destruction“, which was released on CD/digital/vinyl. On Grandparent’s Day (Brazil), a video for a cover of Sepultura‘s “Slave New World” was released, and Sepultura wrote about it across their social media pages. The band joined the Continental Concerts USA roster and live guitarist Dan Yee was added to the lineup.
